Talking about ‘revolution’, it was, is, and will always be compared with the late Islamic Revolution of Iran on 1979 as a ‘benchmark’. When Tunisia and Egypt ‘revolutionized’, the Revolution of Iran was back on the table as a subject to be examined as the ‘standard of revolution’.
When the Islamic Revolution of Iran succeeded to remove Muhammad Reza Pahlavi of Iran (The Shah), son of Reza Khan, it brought a big and upsetting defeat to the imperialism. However, it was not an end to ‘the master’ of imperialists. The Shah was just a robot wired to the White House–CIA–Wall Street.
